The Role

We are looking for a proactive and passionate IT Support Specialist to join our Christchurch team. In this varied role you will ensure the colleague experience is seamless, from onboarding to offboarding – and everything in between! You will provide world class support to both Seequent and Bentley colleagues across the APAC region and will get the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects to enhance user experience.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Answer, troubleshoot, research, and resolve incidents and service requests
  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and backup tasks on server-class hardware and software
  • Undertake general network troubleshooting and assist with localised network tasks
  • Replace memory, RAM, hard drives, etc. in desktop and laptop PCs
  • Ensure colleagues are set up and able to hit the ground running from day one
  • Get involved in a variety of projects designed to improve user experience
  • Complete installations, configurations, and upgrade tasks
  • Troubleshoot conferencing software and conferencing AV hardware issues
  • Collaborate and communicate with a diverse range of technical and non-technical audience

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a similar role focused on IT support and maintenance
  • A general knowledge of commonly used IT operating systems
  • Knowledge of how to support Office 365 Apps
  • Incident ticket management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to others
